Catherine Baer, MS, MS, LPC, CPCS, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor with expertise in addiction treatment/co-occurring disorders, family systems, anxiety, depression, trauma and other mental health challenges. She has over 25 years of experience in the counseling and treatment field and studied Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Health Psychology prior to working in the field. She has worked in all levels of care and in various roles, including case manager at an acute care facility, clinical director of an outpatient treatment center, and executive director of a wellness center. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based treatment for people dealing with singular and complex trauma. This model also shapes her therapeutic approach.

"I believe in people’s potential to live their best lives. I approach therapy with respect for the healing process. Reaching out for help and engaging in a therapeutic relationship takes courage. I look forward to being a part of your journey."
