JEFF HOPKINS, MD

MEDICAL MANAGEMENT FOR ALL TYPES OF EATING DISORDERS THROUGH AGE 21

Dr. Jeff Hopkins joins Atlanta Center for Wellness (AC4W) after 23 years of experience in general pediatrics at Northside Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in Sandy Springs, GA. Dr. Hopkins is board certified in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has experience in care of children and adolescents with multiple medical and emotional issues. These have included eating disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and many more. He enjoys taking the time to get know his patients and their families.

Dr. Hopkins enjoys the collaborative nature of health care and feels working as a team provides the greatest care for his patients. He looks forward to joining the outpatient Eating Disorders team at AC4W, providing both initial and ongoing medical evaluations and maintenance for clients with all types of eating disorders through age 21. In order to provide clients with eating disorder diagnoses the specialized care they require, Dr. Hopkins will only be seeing people for eating disorders and related mental health issues. Therefore, he will collaborate with patient’s primary care pediatricians who will continue to see their patients for all other medical issues. He can also work with patients from other eating disorder mental health practices in Atlanta and will work collaboratively with those teams as well. Dr. Hopkins will be an out of network provider and will provide super-bills for his services.

In his free time, Dr. Hopkins enjoys spending time with his family (including two dogs), golf and travel.
